Oxford Bach Choir


Founded in 1896, the Oxford Bach Choir is considered to be one of the best large amateur choirs in the UK.


With 150 auditioned singing members drawn from the city of Oxford, the universities and the county of Oxfordshire, the Choir performs with professional orchestras and soloists in the splendour of Christopher Wren’s Sheldonian Theatre.


The Oxford Bach Choir is conducted by David Crown and associate conductor Timothy Byram-Wigfield.
