It will be accompanied by the splendid Clarinet Concerto by Mozart, with basset-clarinet, the instrument for which it was originally written. The concert is again an excellent occasion to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Ralph Vaughan Williams with a first performance of Flos Campi in the Sheldonian Theatre.
